Meet the Team
< John A. Dinkelaker R.Ph.
Education: 1966 Graduate of Wyoming High School. 1971 Graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Pharmacy.
Experience: After graduating from college, I worked for Gluecks Pharmacy, Stewart Pharmacy and Gehring Pharmacy before purchasing Obert Pharmacy in 1977. I renamed it Wyoming Pharmacy and then merged it with Schwallie Pharmacy in 1985. My wife Donna, also a pharmacist, and I bought Kunkel Pharmacy in 1987.
Pharmacy Interests: I am very interested in providing our patients with the highest quality pharmaceuticals available as well as being able to compound special formulas through our new Tri-State Compounding Pharmacy. In addition, I enjoy being able to offer our patients pharmacy care in the areas of immunizations, laboratory tests for cholesterol and diabetes as well as education programs covering many health topics. I am fortunate to have a knowledgeable staff of professionals working with me. I will continue to offer the highest possible customer service in the industry.
Personal: Married to Donna Dinkelaker, R.Ph. We have 3 sons together. I also have 2 daughters, Sarah Thompson and Susan Dinkelaker.
< Chad Thompson R.Ph.
Education: Chad received dual degrees while attending the University of Kentucky. He received a Doctorate of Pharmacy and a Masters of Business Administration in May, 2003. He later received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2011.
Experience: Following his graduation from pharmacy school, Chad moved to Cincinnati and began working for two independent pharmacies, Kunkel Pharmacy and Compton Medical. When Chad decided to obtain his law degree, he worked nights at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. He then worked at Yost Pharmacy, an independent pharmacy in Mason, Ohio. After being away from Kunkel Pharmacy for five years, Chad decided to return to where he began his pharmacy career when he became one of the owners of Tri-State Compounding Pharmacy & Kunkel Medical in 2014.
Pharmacy Interests: I have always been interested in compounding since my early days in pharmacy school. I enjoy being able to customize a medication for patients to help with compliance. As a father and pet owner, I believe it is important to provide dosage forms for medications to help these populations get the medication they need. Also, I love having time to provide consultations to patients about hormone therapy, pain management, and wellness. Lastly, I hope to continue to provide educational programs for patients and professionals about the benefits of customized medications and they can be both an alternative and supplement to traditional medicine.
Personal: Chad is married to Sarah Thompson, the eldest daughter of John Dinkelaker. Chad and Sarah live in Loveland, Ohio with their four children; two dogs, Boomer and Hershey; and three cats, Vishnu, Mimi and JJ. He enjoys spending time with his children as they participate in sports activities including basketball, soccer and baseball. He loves running and is a huge fan of the University of Kentucky.
< Joyce Kramer R.Ph.

Experience: I have worked in Northern Kentucky for ten years in retail pharmacy followed by five years in independent pharmacy.
Pharmacy Interests: My favorite part of being a pharmacist is interacting with our patients and counseling them about their drug therapies. Our pharmacy provides a professional environment and team approach to ensure the best pharmaceutical care for our patients. I am also interested in the full range of services that our pharmacy offers: from dispensing prescriptions, compounding specialty drugs, providing medical supplies, administering immunizations, to screening and educating our patients.
Personal: I am married to Terry Kramer and have three beautiful children. As a family we enjoy sports, boating and spending time together.
< Donna, CPhT
Education: Graduated from Amelia High School. After attending West Clermont Career Center, I became a certified pharmacy technician in 2012.
Experience: Before I came to Kunkel Pharmacy in 2008, I had worked in a community pharmacy for 5 years. I absolutely love working for an independent pharmacy so I trained to become a full time compounding technician when I moved to Tri-State Compounding Pharmacy. I have recently attended and passed the training to be qualified to perform Sterile Compounding. The training was taught at Professional Compounding Centers of America in Houston, Texas.
Pharmacy Interests: I love being a technician and was afraid that i would be overwhelmed by being a compounding technician. However, I've had a wonderful teacher, and I have great co-workers and friends. I couldn't ask for a better job.
Personal: I enjoy watching movies and reading books. Non-fiction stories are my favorites. I have three wonderful kids and three grandsons. I love watching my 15-year-old play basketball. My children and grandchildren are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
Stop by sometime and myself or another tech or pharmacist can explain our lab set-up for you.
< Marcia, Medical Supply Manager
Education: I have been working in the medical supply field since 1986 and have seen many changes over the years. Keeping up with all the changes have been a challenge with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances but worth it when I am able to help all my customers.
Medical Supply Interests: I enjoy working with my customers to help them find solutions to make their lives easier. And when I see them smile I know I have done my job. Over the years I have come to meet many wonderful people and have many treasured memories. Customer service is very important to me.
Personal: I like spending time with family and friends and enjoying life. I am lucky to be able to go to about 25-30 Cincinnati Reds games each year. I have been fortunate to have the experience of sitting in the Diamond seats to watch a couple of games.
